NEESgrid 3.0 released 07-30-2004

NEESgrid 3.0, released July 30, 2004, contains updated DAQ, Matlab, NEESpop, and TPM distributions.

The NEESpop release features the addition of the Data Turbine and NEESport Simulation Portal components, and updates to a number of other components, including CHEF, Globus Toolkit, NFMS, NMDS, and NTCP. It also includes fixes for those bugs discovered in the previous release.

NEESgrid 2.2 released 03-01-2004

NEESgrid 2.2, released March 1, 2004, contains updated DAQ, Matlab, and NEESpop distributions. An updated TPM distribution should be available soon.

The NEESpop release features the addition of the NTCP C Client API, updated DataBrowser, Globus Toolkit, GSI-OpenSSH, NMDS, and NTCP packages, as well as a revised installation system which by default reduces install output and has more comprehensive error handling. It also includes fixes for those bugs discovered in the previous release.

NEESgrid 2.1 released 12-15-2003

NEESgrid 2.1, released December 15, 2003, contains an updated DAQ and NEESpop distribution. No updates to the TPM distribution are available at the time of this writing.

The NEESpop release features a Big Brother package, NTCP C Gateway and Labview plugins, updates several packages (including CHEF, NWS, and NCSA CA client software), improves configuration input and build output, has automated installation of services, and contains various other bug fixes.

NEESgrid 2.0 released 10-06-2003

NEESgrid 2.0, released October 6, 2003, is composed of new DAQ, NEESpop, and TPM distributions.

The NEESpop release features new DAQ, NFMS, NTCP server, NTCP Matlab Plugin and TPM packages, improved packages (including CHEF, Globus, GPT, GSI-OpenSSH, MyProxy, NCSA CA client software, and NSDS), updates to data and metadata services, a friendlier user-interface, and improved documentation.

NEESgrid 1.1 released 06-16-2003

NEESgrid 1.1, released June 16, 2003, is composed of new DAQ, NEESpop, and TPM distributions.

New features of the NEESpop release include a dramatically improved configuration and installation system, integration with CHEF 1.1, and a componentized distribution. NEESgrid 1.1 updates NEESgrid 1.0 (released February 12, 2003), which included basic core, system, and information services.
